The samplers are small lots of our fine quality soap that may not look so fancy, but will give
you the opportunity to try handmade soaps at a bargain price. It is a random selection of soap that
will include end pieces (we hand cut our bars), imperfect molded soaps, or the last of small-batch
recipes that were not chosen for our standard selections. These samples are great to take along
when you travel so you can avoid those hotel/motel soaps that are likely to treat your skin harshly.

'Garden of Eden' -- Ingredients: Olive oil, Kinder goat milk, coconut oil, palm oil,
sodium hydroxide (lye), castor oil, jojoba oil. By batch: exfoliates, fragrances, color varying.

This recipe gives a light cream to golden tan color to the soaps, depending upon the
fragrance or essential oils used. It makes a surprisingly long-lasting bar that lathers
nicely, cleans very well, and leaves your skin feeling refreshed.
It cures in about 4-5 weeks.

'Good Shepherd' - Ingredients: Olive oil, distilled water, coconut oil, palm oil,
sodium hydroxide (lye), Kinder goat milk. By batch: exfoliates, fragrances, color varying.

This recipe makes a pale ivory colored soap which takes pastel coloration attractively. It too
makes a long lasting bar, but takes an extra week or so of curing to harden sufficiently.
This is a particularly silky textured bar that will make your skin feel pampered. For the men -- this recipe has also proven its worth as a shaving soap. Men who have tested it give it rave reviews for ease of shaving, and gentleness to the skin.

This recipe qualifies as 'castile' because it is more than 50% olive oil. For those who
prefer a gentle and rich all-vegetable soap, this is the one for you!

Felted Soaps

These colorful felted soaps are gentle washcloth and soap all in one.(no, you do not
take the soap out of its jacket to use it!). This is one bar that won't slip out of your hands,
and as the soap inside is used up, the wool around it keeps shrinking. They are made
with natural and hand dyed wool, carded, wrapped and hand felted around a bar of our
lightly scented handmade goat milk soap. You'll love the look and feel of these unique bars!

$9.50 per bar. Colors: green tones, blue tones, purple/pink tones, red tones,
yellow/gold tones, multicolor light, multicolor dark, and natural browns.
